Skimmer's Cove is a cave by the water just north-west of Pikemead's Reach, in Revelwood. Before the fall, the royal guard warned people away from it, fearing a collapse. People also reported strange vibrations and moving lights in the water at night. Some children planned to sneak in anyway with a borrowed lantern and cake crumbs. The lore quest Cavern Curiosities leads to a gold chest buried inside.
