The Warden Set is a Kindlewastes warrior armor set for tanks. Its strength is extra armor with strong blocking, health and regeneration. The Blacksmith crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests.

Pieces

The pieces carry more physical and magical armor than the damage sets of the same tier. The gloves improve blocking and add a little melee damage. The helmet improves parrying and adds merciless attack damage. The chestplate adds a large block of health and regeneration. The trousers and boots add health and regeneration of health and stamina.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Blacksmith upgrades warrior armor for Runes. Crafted pieces are rare quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health, and extra levels in skills such as Heavy Plates, Shiny Plates and Absorb. Upgraded gear peaks at level 55, far above the Kindlewastes tier. The tank line continues with the Brazen Bull Set in the Albaneve Summits. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

Lore

The Warden descriptions describe the gear of a guardian who holds the line. The helmet is made to command respect. The incredibly sturdy chestplate was often worn by generals and select members of the royal guard, and it inspired fear as much as respect. The heavy gloves let the wearer swing any weapon with added might. The grey trousers are refined with expertly crafted metal parts. In the steadfast boots, no one can tread past the wearer.
