You never get an Asksvin Neck from an Asksvin you kill. Instead you pull it out of the bleached carrion scattered across the Ashlands, the remains of Asksvin that died long before you landed there.

How to Get It

Look for Asksvin Skeletons lying near Putrid Holes and vulture nests, then break the remains apart and pick up what drops. The same pile can also drop the Pelvis, Ribcage and Skull. Reaching the Ashlands is the only requirement, and that is hard enough, so carry Fire Resistance Mead and keep your boat within reach. The bones are not used in any crafting recipe, so there is little point hauling them home before you have somewhere to put them.
