Bone Fragments are the first reward for disturbing someone else's rest, scraped off the dead of the Black Forest and out of the graves they lie in.

How to Get It

Skeletons and Rancid Remains guard the Burial Chambers under the Black Forest and drop fragments where they fall, so a torch and a blunt weapon are enough to start a stock. You can break open stone graves and viking graveyards out in the Meadows for more without a fight, and the same goes for the bone heaps piled around the tar pits of the Plains. The Rancid Remains of the Sunken Crypts add to the pile later, though those doors stay shut until The Elder drops the Swamp Key. Skugg in the Ashlands also drop them when broken apart.
