The Bear Paw, claws still attached, is cut from the forelegs of the Bears of the Black Forest.
How to Get It
The only way to farm paws is to kill the bear wearing them, and bears are scarce: about one to an area of forest, plus the guaranteed resident of a Bear Cave. Any weapon will do, but with 800 health and a heavy slam, the fight is uncomfortable below bronze gear. Bears will not close in on an open flame, so a Campfire placed between you and the bear gives a bow all the time it needs. A starred bear drops more paws for the same trouble.
