The whole Bear Set, from cap to loincloth, is made from Bear Hide taken from the Bears that hold territory in the Black Forest.
How to Get It
Bears are rare and solitary, roughly one to a stretch of forest, and every Bear Cave holds a single unstarred bear. They are also tough: a plain one has 800 health and a bite that hits hard for pierce damage, so bring a shield and a bronze tier weapon before you go looking. Any weapon gets the drop, but fire helps, since a bear will not stand within a few metres of a flame, and placing a Campfire turns the fight into archery. Starred bears drop several times as much hide as an ordinary one. Later on, Viles, the undead bears that walk the Plains after dark, drop the same leather.
