The Black marble column, wide, is the heavy version of the same support: four blocks of Black Marble filling a 2x2x1 footprint in the supports row of the build menu. Where a slim column looks lost, this one gives a hall some mass. Run a pair down each side, land the arches on top, and the roof has something solid underneath it.
How to Build It
All it needs is four blocks of Black Marble and a Stonecutter within range. The marble comes from the Mistlands and travels through portals the way ordinary Stone does. The wider foot spreads the load over a full 2x2, but it is still stonework: it needs ground or more stone beneath it, and Wood on its own will not carry it.
