The Crown of Valheim is your reward for finishing the Deep North. It is made from the Crown Jewel that Kall Fimbulbringer drops, and while you wear it no creature except a boss will attack you: they run away instead.
How to Craft
Crafted at a level 4 black forge from:
- 5x Bloodgold: Smelted from petrified tissue in a blast furnace.
- 1x Crown Jewel: Dropped by Kall Fimbulbringer.

When to Use It
End game. You need Fader dead before you can progress through the Deep North.
Properties
You craft it at a level 4 black forge from five bloodgold and the Crown Jewel, which only Kall Fimbulbringer drops, one per kill.
Its 50 armour is two more than a Helmet of the Protector at quality 3, and it adds 5% to your movement speed. The Royalty effect makes every creature except bosses refuse to attack you and flee instead. On top of that, attacking, running, swimming and sneaking each cost a fifth less stamina.
It gives 50 armour at quality 1, weighs 1 and has 1000 durability.
That is 12 more armour than the Flametal Helmet, the best helmet before the Deep North.
It costs 5 bloodgold and 1 Crown Jewel.
Notes
- It cannot be upgraded.
- Royalty does not stop bosses.
