Grilled Neck Tail is the earliest cooked meat in the game: one Neck Tail laid on a Cooking Station over any fire. For your first few nights in the Meadows it is a perfectly good food.

How to Make It

Build a Campfire, set a Cooking Station across it and drop a raw tail on the rack. It cooks in well under a minute and burns to coal if you wander off, so take it off the moment it browns. The tails drop from Necks by the water in the Meadows, and twenty five health for that little effort is what carries you through the opening hours.
