The Ashlands sends home stranger materials than timber, and the Lava lantern is what the Lighting menu makes of them. One piece of flametal, a measure of proustite powder and a little sulfur make a small standing lamp that glows orange forever without being fed.

How to Build It

Build it from one Flametal, one Proustite Powder and one Sulfur within range of a Workbench. It burns without fuel, which makes it the tidiest light in the game to run, but rain damages it, so it belongs indoors or under cover. It takes its support from wood, so a plain shelf, beam or table top is enough to stand it on.
