The Mysterious Locations are three unique sites in the Ashlands. Each one leads to the next, and together they hold the parts of the sword Dyrnwyn.
Where to Find It
Each world has one of each site, on solid Ashlands ground at or above sea level where the height varies by no more than 5 m, at least 2,048 m apart. They are among the first locations placed when a world generates. Your way in is a vegvisir found in one Putrid Hole in four, which marks the first site. A vegvisir at the first site then marks the second, and one at the second marks the third.
What's Inside
The first site is a small walled Grausten ruin with four Molten Cores and the Dyrnwyn Tip Fragment on an altar in the middle; you have to break part of the wall to get in. The second is a ring of grausten arches with four Molten Cores and the Dyrnwyn Blade Fragment on an open altar. The third is another walled ruin with four Molten Cores and the entrance to the Tomb of Lord Reto, where Lord Reto carries the Dyrnwyn Hilt Fragment. A violet elite Monument of Torment guards every site.

Notes
The elite version of the monument wakes up when a player comes within 60 meters, and from then on it tries to spawn a creature within 4 meters of itself every 10 seconds.
