Once a store room holds more than four chests, the Sign stops being decoration and becomes navigation. It is filed under Decoration: a small board of Wood lettered in Coal that holds a short line of text, turning a wall of identical containers into somewhere you can actually find the nails.

How to Build It

It costs 1x Coal and 2x Wood, and like the other wood pieces it goes up with a Workbench in range. Once it is placed, hold the interact key to type on it, and use rich text tags such as size and colour if you want the important ones readable from across the room. At 100 durability it is one of the flimsiest things you can build, so keep signs inside the walls rather than out on the approach road.
