Alder Folk Boots are Relic heavy boots from the base game, in a crafted variant and a loot variant. Both give +5% piercing, +5% bludgeoning, +6% slashing, +5% monster and +5% elemental resistance. The bandits in the secondary quest Death By Fire always drop at least one pair. The looted pair takes the level it drops at. The crafted pair needs level 36, in the late game.

The loot pair adds +10-20% Igni sign intensity, which suits a signs build that uses Igni. It gives 9-11 armor plus 2 per level.

The crafted pair gives 80 armor at level 36.

How to Get Alder Folk Boots

Relic (loot): Play the secondary quest Death By Fire and loot the bandits. At least one pair is guaranteed to drop.
Relic (crafted): Find the diagram at a random diagram location, or buy it from any Skellige armorer or the merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig.
