The Endrega Warrior is an Insectoid from the larger, stronger caste of an endrega colony. Warriors guard endrega nests in Velen and Skellige.
Lore
A forester named Klaus Altman once warned that anyone scared of endregas should wait until they see the warriors. Most of the time, a colony beats its enemies with endless waves of Endrega Workers. When a more dangerous foe comes, the colony sends out its warriors instead.
This caste lives only to fight. It gets plenty of chances, either defending the colony's borders or taking new ground. A warrior's main weapon is its long tail. The tail ends in a club-like growth spiked with venomous quills. Strong muscles in the warrior's belly swing it hard enough to kill most weaker foes in one blow.
Behaviour
Endrega Warriors stay close to the colony and fight beside its workers.
Weaknesses
Coat the silver sword with Insectoid Oil. The warrior's body is split into armored sections, so it barely bleeds. A blade coated in Insectoid Oil still makes it recoil in great pain. Drink Golden Oriole against its venom.
The tail is the main threat. The warrior sweeps it at its foe, and the quills poison whatever they strike. It also charges with its whole weight to knock its opponent over.

An Endrega Warrior can also turn up in the secondary quest Defender of the Faith in Velen. An old woman asks for help repairing the roadside shrines that vandals have wrecked. If the shrine at Duén Hen is the second one repaired, an Endrega Warrior attacks there.
