Hunting Gauntlets are gauntlets in Common, Master and Magic variants from the base game. The game starts with a unique Common pair, which counts as medium armor. Every other pair is light armor. The starting pair and the Master pairs from White Orchard and Velen are early-game gear.
The starting pair gives 1 armor at level 1, with +1% slashing and +2% elemental resistance. In NG+ it gives 4 armor plus 2 per level.
The shop Common pair gives 5-7 armor at level 1 with +1% bludgeoning and +1% slashing resistance. The Master pair doubles those resistances and adds 1 random Master effect. A crafted Magic pair gives 4 armor at level 1 with 2 random Magic effects.

How to Get Hunting Gauntlets
- Common (starting): They are worn at the start of a new game.
- Common: Buy them from any base-game armorer other than Zoltan Chivay, or from merchants such as the ones in Ursten and Mohrin Village. They are also random loot.
- Master: Open the big chest near the Mill in White Orchard, search the basement of the southeastern abandoned house in Mulbrydale, or open the treasure chest for The Dead Have No Defense. Ladies of the Wood also gives a pair as a reward.
