  • 1x Enriched Dimeritium Plate
  • 2x Monster Bone
  • 4x Powdered Monster Tissue

Legendary Manticore Boots are the NG+ Legendary variant of the Manticore Boots, medium witcher armor from Blood and Wine. They give 93 armor at level 41, with +30% crit damage and +5 maximum toxicity. They are a Toussaint pair at level 40 plus the NG+ starting level.

They also give +7% piercing, +8% slashing and +5% monster resistance. The regular boots give 91 armor and +25% crit damage. Maximum toxicity suits an alchemy and bombs build.

Set Bonus

The Manticore set is medium armor with a single Grandmaster tier at level 40. 3 pieces: crit chance and crit damage also apply to bombs, and bombs are thrown with no delay. 6 pieces: each alchemy item gets 1 extra charge.

How to Get Legendary Manticore Boots

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
  • Find the diagram in Lebioda's temple behind an Aard wall, with the trousers diagram.
  • A grandmaster armorer crafts them.

Legendary Manticore Boots Map Location and Quest Guide

The Legendary Manticore Boots diagram sits in Lebioda's temple, in a hidden room behind a wall that Aard breaks open, during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear. The pin marks the diagram spot, where the same container holds the trousers diagram and The Great Beggar's journal. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Talk to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Toussaint, and ask him about the Manticore gear to start the hunt.
  2. Go to the Bastoy Prison Ruins and climb the standing tower.
  3. Loot the loose brick in the wall at the top for the steel sword diagram, then read the prisoner's notes on the corpse beside it. It points to the cave where Lebioda once stayed.
  4. Go to the cave southeast of Gélenser Farm and kill the panther outside.
  5. Search the prayer notes on the cavern wall farthest from the entrance and read Merten's prayer. It gives the armor diagram and points to Lebioda's temple.
  6. Enter Lebioda's temple, go to the farthest room and use Aard to open the hidden area.
  7. Defeat the Great Beggar's Ghost, the specter that attacks there.
  8. Loot the container on the table for the Legendary Manticore Boots diagram.
