Toussaint Knight's Tourney Armor is the best chest armor in the game. It is a heavy chest armor from Blood and Wine. It comes in Master, Magic and Relic variants. The crafted Relic variant gives 275 armor and +500 vitality at level 48. Its diagram comes from the treasure hunt The Curse of Carnarvon. It turns up in Toussaint late in the game, with looted Master copies at level 45 to 46.

The Relic variant also gives +43% resistance to piercing, bludgeoning and slashing damage. It adds a 25% chance to deflect projectiles with Quen. Together with the vitality, that suits a Quen tank.

The Master and Magic variants start at 30 armor at level 1 and gain 5 armor per level. The Master variant gives +28% piercing and +36% slashing resistance. The Magic variant gives +35% piercing and +39% slashing resistance, plus 1 random Magic effect.

How to Get Toussaint Knight's Tourney Armor

Relic: finish the treasure hunt The Curse of Carnarvon and take the diagram from its reward chest. An armorer crafts it.
Master: loot the big chest on the Trading Post armorer's platform. Another copy is in the big chest under the illusory wall at Jerome Moreau's prison, under Mont Crane Castle, during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear. Toussaint armorers sell it.
Magic: loot the chest under the signal fire tower at Mont Crane Castle, or the bundle container at The Monster of Tufo's lair, to the right of the big hole. Toussaint armorers sell it.
