The Ursine Silver Sword - Superior is a witcher gear silver sword from the base game. It is the third tier of the Bear School silver sword. It deals 373-455 damage at level 30 and gives +50% crit damage. Its diagram is in a cave southwest of The Orphans of Crookback Bog in Velen. It comes into play late in the game.
It gives +15% adrenaline gain, +50% crit damage, +5% crit chance, +13% dismember chance and +20% XP from monsters. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.
It has 3 rune slots. These hold three runestones or one runeword.
Set Bonus
The Ursine set is heavy armor with 5 tiers. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may cast at no stamina cost, with the chance rising by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage from abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

Ursine Silver Sword - Superior Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the cave on the edge of the bog southwest of the Orphans of Crookback Bog in Velen, the same cave as Contract: Swamp Thing. The Ursine Silver Sword - Superior diagram sits in a chest behind a body along the left wall. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying Ibrahim Savi's third map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde.
- Go to the cave southwest of the Orphans of Crookback Bog.
- Use the Eye of Nehaleni on the hidden entrance, or keep heading west to the open entrance.
- Kill the foglets inside. Ignis Fatuus also waits past the open entrance if he is still alive.
- Stick to the left wall to find a body.
- Loot the chest behind the body for the silver sword diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes the Legendary Ursine Silver Sword - Superior instead. It needs level 30 plus the starting level, deals 382-466 damage at level 31 and gives +100% crit damage.
