Bullets is a side job set in Jinguji, the high end clothing store in Downtown, City Center. Some days after V's first visit, a return trip to the shop turns into a bloodbath when a cyberpsycho kicks in the door. V has to fight for survival until MaxTac arrives, led by Lieutenant Melissa Rory, a woman with a past of her own.

Dress Up

Johnny is delighted in the journal. There is justice in the world after all. His little merc wants to play dress up like a corpo, and suddenly a cyberpsycho breaks down the shop's door. A coincidence, probably, but a wonderful one. He hopes V learns a valuable lesson today, if V survives to the end of it.

Zane, the shop's attendant, welcomes V back and asks what he can do for V today. After V browses the racks, the cyberpsycho storms in and kills the store's guards. Zane hits the alarm, the door locks, and V must either defeat the psycho or hold out until MaxTac arrives.

Melissa Rory

After the fight, the MaxTac officer, Melissa Rory, takes statements from V and Zane on the couch. On the way out, V can talk to her about the attack and about her Mantis Blades. They are an old model, recalled because it interfered with the users' prefrontal cortex. She says she keeps them as a reminder of her past.

Bullets map location:

1. Shop at Jinguji in Downtown at least once.
2. Return a few days later and talk to Zane.
3. Open the shop's menu. Nothing has to be bought.
4. Close the menu and defeat the cyberpsycho, or survive until MaxTac arrives.
5. Talk to the MaxTac officer.
6. Sit next to Zane on the couch.
7. Talk to Melissa Rory on the way out if desired.

Tips

---

The shop door locks once the fight begins, so be ready for a cyberpsycho fight before returning. As in the cyberpsycho sightings, a projectile launch system with tranquilliser rounds can bring the psycho down almost at once. Save before the fight, as the job can get stuck afterwards.

With Phantom Liberty installed, Melissa Rory and her squad can be fought after the job. Step outside, come back in, and crouch behind her for a takedown. She may drop her MaxTac Mantis Blades. Some players report they only drop after a non lethal takedown. Save first, as MaxTac is no joke.

• After the job, Zane texts V with an offer of juicy gossip. Accepting it reveals that the lieutenant once went cyberpsycho herself, and MaxTac now uses her like a dog on a leash.

• The job is named after the song Bullets by Archive, which played in the 2013 teaser trailer of the game. That trailer shows Melissa's capture by MaxTac.
