City Center

City Center
Type	Region
Sub-districts	Corpo Plaza, Downtown

City Center is the corporate core of Night City, a skyline of fortress like towers built to show off the power of the megacorporations. Standing in the middle of Corpo Plaza, surrounded by breathtaking megabuildings, office blocks, bars, clubs and dazzling neon, it is hard to believe that the area was once a smouldering battlefield. City Center was the front line of the Fourth Corporate War and the site of the nuclear blast that destroyed the old Arasaka Towers. Rebuilding it was long and costly, but the district rose again with more modern architecture than before, and it now surpasses even its former glory. The game's Database says it serves one purpose only: to flaunt the economic power of Night City and prove that the city is freer than ever. It is also the most fortified district in the city. Corpo Plaza is home to Arasaka, Militech, Biotechnica, Petrochem, Kang Tao and other giants, and the new Arasaka Tower stands over it all. Downtown, the other half of the district, is a place of narrow alleys, nightclubs, celebrities and office workers, where the money of the towers spills into the streets after dark. Memorial Park, the 7th Hell club and the Gold Beach Marina are among its landmarks.
