Dirty Biz is a Thievery gig from Regina Jones in Northside, Watson. The young son of Bryce Stone, a televangelist and friend of Regina's, was kidnapped and murdered, and the NCPD dropped the case for lack of evidence. Bryce found a black market braindance of the killing, but it was heavily edited. The raw recording could reveal the killer, and it is in the studio of two braindance tuners guarded by Maelstrom.
Story
The Raw Cut
Regina explains in the journal. Her good friend Bryce Stone, a televangelist, needs help, and she says not to ask how they know each other. His little boy was kidnapped and murdered a few days later. The NCPD dropped the case for lack of evidence. Bryce took matters into his own hands and found the braindance of the murder, but it was heavily edited, leaving few clues. If V can get the raw cut, there is a chance to identify the killer.
The braindance was put out by two tuners, Gottfrid and Fredrik, in Northside. Regina bets they still have the original. V should watch out for the Maelstrom gangers guarding them. A netrunner Regina hired before, L33tHax, was caught by Maelstrom and killed.
The Studio
The tuners' compound sits off Shipyard Way, watched by cameras, guards and turrets. On the second floor of the building inside, V finds Gottfrid and Fredrik, and can question them about who killed the preacher's son. Their answers are disturbing.
