The Grand Imperial Mall is a huge unfinished shopping centre in Coastview, Pacifica. It was meant to be the largest and most luxurious mall in the district. Its plans held stores, restaurants, a gym, a cinema, a hotel and its own amusement park.
History
The mall was almost complete when the Unification War came. The money dried up, and the building was left empty.
When the Voodoo Boys took over western Pacifica, they kept away from it, because they felt it reeked of corpo vanity. Later the Animals moved in and used it as a base, together with a NetWatch agent hunting the Voodoo Boys.
The mall was hyped as the most luxurious in Pacifica, just as Pacifica itself was meant to be the crown jewel of Night City. It stands by the shore and was planned to hold dozens of stores, service outlets and restaurants. Its plans also included sleeping pods for hire, an amusement park called Eden Beach with a Ferris wheel and a rollercoaster, and the Hotel Tropique.

Inside Grand Imperial Mall
The halls are bare concrete and dark storefronts. After the Animals left, the Scavengers moved in to strip the place for valuables. A boxing ring inside the mall hosts the final title match of the fight circuit.
Jobs
In I Walk the Line, the Voodoo Boys send a netrunner into the mall to deal with the NetWatch agent in the cinema's projection room. The Animals fill the ground floor on the way in.
The NetWatch agent waiting in the projection room is Bryce Mosley, and he makes V an offer that can be taken or turned down. The boxing ring hosts the last fight against Razor Hugh in Beat on the Brat.
