Nix

Nix
Type	Side Character

Nix is a former corpo and a netrunner who works for Rogue at the Afterlife. He is infamous in his trade, and through Rogue he trades his services for influence. He has a particular passion for the netrunning gear of the old net, above all the tools once used by the legendary Rache Bartmoss.

Biography

The Netrunner

Nix sits in the back of the Afterlife with his gear. Depending on V's life path, he can be coaxed into sharing a little about his past in the corporate world.

The Spellbook

The first time V meets him, Nix asks the merc to buy a package for him: a spellbook from before the collapse of the old net. He gives V the contact of the seller, R3n0, who arranges the meeting. V obtains an extremely rare piece of tech, a Zetatech tablet decades old. V can hand it over to Nix as agreed.

The Freezer

A second deal with Nix becomes possible in the far south-east of the Badlands. V can find an unusual freezer dumped among the rubbish and a remarkable cyberdeck inside. Bringing it to Nix to decode leads to the next step of that mystery.
