New Boss, New Rules is a suspected organised crime activity on Carnitas Street in Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo. The 6th Street gang here has a new boss, Olga Elisabeth Longmead, wanted for kidnapping and two counts of first degree murder. Those who were loyal to the old boss are now prisoners in her basement, held for ransom.
Story
The Dispatcher
The NCPD dispatcher calls all subcontractors to Carnitas Street. 6th Street has set up there under Olga Elisabeth Longmead, wanted for kidnapping and two counts of first degree murder. The city offers a reward for ending the threat.
A Shake Up
The journal explains how things work. 6th Street has had a change in management. The new boss does not like the people who liked the old boss. That means a few unlucky men and women are in trouble, and V has a front row seat.
Decision Please?
A mail thread to Olga lists the captives so far, each with a military rank: Private Sandra Butler, Sergeants First Class Scott Hammer, Tim Robitel and Justin Anderson, and Private First Class Edoardo Barrymore. The writer doubts anyone will pay for the rest and asks what to do with them, as keeping them is awkward. A man called Gunner could work out their game. The answer is to hold them one more day. If the money does not appear, the families get a few fingers.
He Escaped
In another shard, Olga asks Anne Brown if she has caught a man. Anne admits he escaped, but they are after him. Olga reminds her that he was close to Morton, and must be caught.
