Wipe the Gonk, Take the Implants is a suspected organised crime activity around the Eden Beach Mega Ride in Coastview, Pacifica. A crew of Scavengers works here under Stanislaus Zbyszko, a captain with several smuggling priors. His crew killed one of their own for a load of implants, and planned to blame another gang.
Story
The Dispatcher
The NCPD dispatcher calls all subcontractors to the Eden Beach Mega Ride. Stanislaus Zbyszko, a known Scavenger captain with multiple smuggling priors, is likely at the scene. The city offers a reward for taking down Zbyszko and his group.
The Cover Story
The journal is short: they killed their own friend for a few implants. Typical Scavengers.
Zbyszko's shard, sent to twenty four people, sets out the plan. First, everyone keeps quiet. The story is that the Animals attacked Goose and stole the high tech implants he was carrying for the Tyger Claws. Nobody should feel sorry for Goose. He was a good friend, but he started getting too clever. The Tyger Claws should believe it, since Goose really is dead. Nobody says a word to them, and nobody shows off the implants. The whole haul goes to the Soviets.
Today's Hunt
A computer at the hideout holds the crew's shopping list, titled "today's hunt". It lists optics, organs and implants by maker, with notes such as human tissue to be removed, skin by the square foot and three hands.
