This suspected organised crime activity takes place on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Vista del Rey, Heywood. Story

---

The Dispatcher

The NCPD dispatcher calls all subcontractors to Martin Luther King Boulevard. Valentinos are running smuggling and trafficking operations there, led by Miguel Rodriguez. His priors include second degree murder and drug trafficking. The city offers a reward for ending the threat.

New Rig

A message to Miguel announces a new van. It has eight seats but fits twenty people. The windows are glued shut, and the doors open only from the outside. Miguel's crew must find a driver who knows the roads in Nevada, and work out whose palms to grease at Militech to avoid trouble at the border.

Assuming All Survive

A shard records Miguel with Alan Narvarez. Another transport of twenty people is being prepared, assuming they all survive. Alan's place at Mercado Sonora can take twelve to fifteen at most. Miguel says that is no problem. He will make sure five get lost on the way.

A Little Retreat

A third shard shows how the border is handled. A woman called Ines tells an officer named Roger that they are organising a little retreat south, and want no hiccups at the border. Roger says it will cost a lot, as there is more pressure from the top, with cameras everywhere and frequent checks. Ines says a higher rate is no problem. Roger promises to send the account number.
