The Gun is a small side job at the 2nd Amendment, the gun shop of Robert Wilson inside Megabuilding H10, Little China, Watson. When V walks past, Wilson calls out that V's "sweet little forty-five" is waiting for its owner. The gun is the Iconic power pistol Dying Night, and it is free.
Story
A Rite of Passage
The journal tells of a tradition in Heywood. On a sixteenth birthday, a father gives his child a gun. Johnny never got one, as he had a terrible father. V is well past sixteen, and it is high time V got a solid piece of iron.
Wilson hails V from the counter and hands over the pistol at no cost. A Streetkid V hears more: Wilson says a custom gun is a rite of passage in Night City, and he is giving V one now to make up for the one V never got.
