Megabuilding H10 is a huge residential tower in Little China, Watson, and V's home for most of the story. It was the first megabuilding in Night City to be finished. Its cheapest homes are cube rooms, and the flats get nicer the higher they are. The Database calls it V's Megabuilding.
History
The First Megabuilding
The city began its first modern megabuildings to house its people after hard times. H10 and H11 were not first on the council's list, but heavy lobbying from corporations such as SovOil and Petrochem moved them up. Unlike H11, H10 was finished on time. A community college opened inside it shortly before the tower was complete.
A Symbol of Recovery
The new tower was sold as a symbol of the city's recovery. Its brochures promised that a home in H10 meant a bed, food on the table and a future to look forward to. Time would tell how true that was. In its early years a radio station held parties on the roof every week, and a basketball team called the H10 Hammerheads played for the building.
V's Home
V rents a small flat here after spending some months working with Jackie Welles. The flat is the first home of the story, and almost every part of the story starts or returns here.

Inside Megabuilding H10
Floors
The lower floors have cube rooms, cleaner and newer than most cube hotels but still cubes. Above them come small flats and studios, and then spacious apartments. The luxury suites near the top rival the best homes in richer districts, with their own gyms and private bars. The building holds thousands of flats just like V's.
A City in a Tower
Food stalls and the main lobby fill the ground floor. One floor below V's flat is a whole market, with food stalls, shops, a gym and a fighting ring where Coach Fred sells melee weapons. Robert Wilson's weapon shop, 2nd Amendment, is on the same floor. A parking garage stands in a separate block beside the tower and links to V's floor by a lift.
Megabuildings like H10 are almost self contained. Many long term residents, above all netrunners, have not set foot outside in years. Gangs hang around the lower levels, and the NCPD patrols the halls.
Jobs
Happy Together takes place inside the tower, in the flat of V's neighbour Barry Lewis. Several main jobs, such as The Rescue and Playing for Time, start or end in V's flat.

Notes
The sign LC896 on the sides of the building and above its entrance is probably its address. A pet cat, Nibbles, and an iguana can come to live in V's flat.
