Ring of Accrual is a ring that every vocation can wear. It is a handy ring for long trips and heavy loot, because it raises the weight the wearer can carry.
Captain Brant gives one at the end of An Unsettling Encounter in Vernworth. Sven hands over another during The Ornate Box.

How to Get Ring of Accrual
- Take An Unsettling Encounter from Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn and bring him the Battahli-Crested Letter from Allard's Chambers.
- Buy the Ornate Box for Sven in The Ornate Box. He hands over a second ring at the fountain in Vernworth.

Ring of Accrual Quest Guide
An Unsettling Encounter is a main quest given by Captain Brant in Vernworth. It begins when he is asked about Allard at The Stardrop Inn at night. Handing the Battahli-Crested Letter to Brant earns the Ring of Accrual.
- Find Brant at The Stardrop Inn at night, passing the time if he is absent. Choose "Tell me of rumors about Allard" and accept the task.
- Go to the Royal Quarter at night. A guard named Sonia meets the Arisen and leads the way into Vernworth Castle.
- Climb the stairs where Sonia stops, pass through The Guardhouse and the room after it, then turn right into the large hallway.
- Head south to the spiral staircase in the southwest corner of the hall and climb to the second floor.
- Follow the southwest corridor towards Allard's Chambers for a cutscene. Wait until the occupants leave, then go inside.
- Find the slight indent in the east wall near the desk and press against it to open a hidden room.
- Take the Battahli-Crested Letter from inside the hidden room.
- Leave through the open window on the west side after the cutscene with Sven outside, and drop onto the covered carriages below.
- Sneak past the guards towards the archway exit. Wilhelmina waits there and covers for the Arisen when a guard approaches.
- Return to The Stardrop Inn and ask Brant about Allard to hand over the letter and complete the quest.
Rewards: 1,200 XP, 5,500 G and the Ring of Accrual.
The Ornate Box
The Ornate Box is a side quest given by Sven and Auriol in Vernworth. It becomes available during the main quest Seat of the Sovran, in the Merchant Quarter. Sven hands over another Ring of Accrual at the fountain, the day after the Jasper.
- Go to the merchant stalls in the Merchant Quarter, where Sven wants the Ornate Box from Auriol's shop but lacks the gold.
- Buy the Ornate Box from Auriol. The price drops once Medicament Predicament is complete.
- Find Sven in the Merchant Quarter and give him the box.
- Wait a few days, then meet Sven at the fountain in the centre of Vernworth. He hands over a Jasper. The pawns give a reminder each time he is ready to meet again.
- Meet him at the fountain the next day for a Ring of Accrual.
- Keep returning to the fountain on the following days. Sven hands over a Ferrystone, the Courtly Tunic, the Courtly Breeches and his gold, completing the quest.
Rewards: 900 XP, 4,000 G, Jasper, Ring of Accrual, Ferrystone, Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches.
Outcomes:
- Buy the Ornate Box for Sven: the full reward.
- Lend Sven the gold instead: he repays it in gold in place of the Jasper and Ring of Accrual.
