The Ash of War: Earthshaker is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Heavy affinity and the Earthshaker skill. It is picked up mid-game, in the Altus Plateau.
Earthshaker plunges the weapon into the ground and forces it deeper to unleash a wide, earth-shaking shockwave around the wielder. A strong attack input follows up with a powerful sweeping strike that can be aimed in any direction and knocks human-sized foes back. The slam and the sweep use the weapon's own damage, while the shockwave scales with Strength. It suits Strength builds wielding great axes, great hammers, great spears and colossal weapons that want crowd control and stance damage.
Stats
It grants the Heavy affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Keen, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 10 FP. It fits Colossal Sword, Greataxe, Great Hammer, Colossal Weapon and Great Spear.
How to Get Ash of War: Earthshaker Guide
- Ash of War: Earthshaker drops from an invisible Teardrop Scarab on the road south of the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace in the Altus Plateau.
- The scarab moves slowly and kicks up a small cloud of dust, which is easiest to spot at night.

Skill
Open with the slam when enemies crowd in close, since the shockwave staggers everything around the wielder. The follow-up can be delayed a little, which helps catch players who roll too early. Hyper armor during the skill makes it safer to trade blows, but the full animation is long.
