The Giant-Crusher is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Altus Plateau, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

895 attack rating (AR) two-handed at 60 Str on Heavy +25, rising to 965 at 80 Str. Unique R2 in both grips that somersaults forward and flattens small enemies when charged. Highest guard boost and highest stamina damage in the class, so it doubles as a blocking tool. Infusible with Smithing Stones.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at C, so Str is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 60 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

A hammer made from a boulder, used in the War against the Giants. One of the heftiest weapons in the entire Lands Between. After the giants were quelled, and man turned against man in violence, this weapon was all but forgotten. Man has grown feeble in comparison to his forebears.

How to Get Giant-Crusher Guide

Found inside a carriage within an encampment south of Outer Wall Phantom Tree grace, located in Altus Plateau.
An Ulcerated Tree Spirit appears upon approaching the camp.
