The Duelist Greataxe is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring. It has the highest physical attack of any colossal weapon in the game. It arrives late in the game, in Leyndell, Ashen Capital.

The Duelist Greataxe is designed for gladiatorial combat and used by duelists who were exiled from the colosseum, a weapon reserved for duelist champions whose charge attack is particularly ferocious. It is a chance drop from the Duelist patrolling near the colosseum by the West Capital Rampart grace in Leyndell, and from the Duelist in the Sainted Hero's Grave. Its charged strong attacks have higher motion values than usual, so their damage compares with the colossal hammers in its class. It needs 30 Strength, has 170 physical attack, weighs 20.0 and accepts Ashes of War.

It is a rare drop from the greataxe-wielding Grave Warden Duelists near the Royal Colosseum in Leyndell, Royal Capital, which vanish once Maliketh, the Black Blade is defeated.

1. Rest at the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
2. Follow the path past the trumpet-wielding enemies and the gargoyle toward the Royal Colosseum.
3. Climb the stairs beneath the giant root to the Grave Warden Duelist patrolling the nearby hill.
4. Defeat the Duelist until the greataxe drops, before Maliketh, the Black Blade is defeated.

Endure costs 9 FP. The wielder braces in an anchored stance that for three seconds raises damage negation by 45 percent and greatly boosts poise, so most attacks fail to stagger. Some light one-handed attacks even bounce off, though headshots and launching attacks can still interrupt the wielder. Heavy weapons take noticeably longer to enter the stance. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.
