The Ash of War: Eruption is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Fire affinity and the Eruption skill. It shows up mid-run, in Volcano Manor.
Eruption is the skill of the knights of Volcano Manor: the wielder wreathes the weapon in flames and slams it into the ground, then rips it back up in a fiery explosion. Lava spouts up from the point of impact and lingers as a burning pool for a few seconds. The fire damage scales with Strength and the weapon's upgrade level, and the swings carry hyper armor. It suits Strength builds wielding large and colossal weapons that want area fire damage.
Stats
It grants the Fire affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Flame Art. The skill costs 14 FP. It fits Greatsword, Colossal Sword, Heavy Thrusting Sword, Curved Greatsword, Great Katana, Greataxe, Great Hammer and Colossal Weapon.

Skill
Aim the slam at the enemy's feet so they take both melee hits and stand in the lava pool. Both the slam and the pull-up can be parried, so it works best against large enemies or after a stagger. The Talisman of the Dread boosts its damage.
