The Discus of Light is a Golden Order incantation in Elden Ring. It is found in the Altus Plateau, around the middle of a run.
Discus of Light is one of the incantations of the Golden Order fundamentalists, a gift from the young Miquella to his father, Radagon. It throws a ring of light forward that passes through enemies and then returns toward the caster, hitting again on the way back, and it can be cast repeatedly. Because the returning ring strikes from behind, it is useful against Golem Smiths' weak spot on their backs, and a spell parry such as Carian Retaliation can catch the returning discus to trigger its effect. The ring stops on obstacles and returns at a lower height than it was thrown, and Torrent can trot while it is cast. The Dryleaf Seal and other Golden Order boosts raise its damage, and it suits Golden Order faith builds that enjoy tricky projectiles.
Effect
Throws a ring of light that passes through enemies and returns toward the caster, hitting again on the way back; it can be cast repeatedly. Each cast costs 3 FP and 20 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
