How to Get Dung Eater Puppet Guide

Sold by Preceptor Seluvis at Seluvis's Rise for 5 Starlight Shards after a series of steps. # Keep Seluvis's Potion instead of giving it to Nepheli Loux. # Follow the Dung Eater's quest until he is bound to a chair in his cell in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds below Leyndell, Royal Capital. # Give the potion to the bound Dung Eater. # Return to Seluvis and talk to him until he offers to sell the puppet.
The offer appears only after the free puppet has been taken and the area has been reloaded.
Handing Ranni the Witch the Fingerslayer Blade before this closes the way to the puppet for the rest of the playthrough.

Combat

The Dung Eater swings the Sword of Milos, which builds up blood loss. He uses Shriek of Milos to raise his own attack and lower the resistances of nearby enemies. If he roars again while the buff is active, he sets off an explosion and launches homing projectiles. He deals good stance damage. His heavy armor lets him stay in a fight for a long time.

"One of Seluvis's puppets. Use to summon the spirit of the Dung Eater. Spirit of a man who murdered thousands and defiled their corpses with the Seedbed Curse. Wields a spine greatsword and hurls curses. The Dung Eater despaired at how he met his end. How hideous and sinister this puppet is, and yet, its utter despair invites one to care for it."

Upgrades

As a renowned spirit it is strengthened with Ghost Glovewort, which Roderika handles at the Roundtable Hold up to +10.
