Wormface is a field boss in Elden Ring.
Wormface is a towering, emaciated creature whose face is a mass of writhing worms. It lurks at the foot of the Minor Erdtree in the woods of the Altus Plateau. It vomits clouds of deathblight that can kill outright once they build up. A second giant Wormface hides on Mt. Gelmir, disguised as a burning corpse.
Lore
Wormface is a gaunt giant in a long laced hood, with worm-like tentacles spilling from where its face should be. Its endless hacking and coughing carry far through the forest.
Wormfaces haunt the woods around the Woodfolk Ruins on the Altus Plateau. They vomit clouds of deathblight that spread over a wide area, and some grow to enormous size.
Where to find Wormface Location?
- Minor Erdtree (Altus Plateau), just northwest of the tree, reached east and north from the Bower of Bounty Site of Grace
- Mt. Gelmir, near the Road of Iniquity Site of Grace, disguised as a burning putrid corpse

Attacks
- Head Smash: it pulls its head back and slams it down; roll as it comes down.
- Head Sweep: a quick smash followed by sweeps of its head along the ground; roll or back away.
- Deathblight Spew: it rears back and vomits a stream of worm-ridden toxins that build deathblight; duck behind a tree or back far away.
- Blight Cloud: it releases a slow, drifting cloud of toxins; back away from the area.
- Run and Grab: it sprints in and lunges to seize its target; circle around its arms and hit its legs.
Tactics
- Carry deathblight protection, such as the Prince of Death's Pustule or Immunizing Cured Meat.
- Start circling as soon as it coughs, which warns of a spew.
- Use the large trees as cover from its spew.
- Stay at its feet, circle behind it and hit its legs.
- Ride Torrent to escape its sprint and spew.
- Summon Spirit Ashes to divide its attention.
