Larval Tear is a tool in Elden Ring. It is found early on, in Limgrave.
A Larval Tear is the core of a silver tear, a living creature that mimics others. It is the material Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon needs for rebirth. Rebirth lets attribute points be spent again. Tears drop from disguised enemies, silver tears and a few merchants.
Use
Each Larval Tear pays for one rebirth with Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon at Raya Lucaria Academy. Rebirth resets the levels already spent and lets them be placed again.
"Core of a creature of mimicry known as a silver tear. As much a substance as it is a living organism. Material required by the amber egg cradled by Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, to birth people anew. Being born anew allows the reallocation of attributes boosted by leveling up."

- Defeat the silver tears and the Mimic Tear in Nokron, Eternal City and Nokstella, Eternal City for more.
- Speak to Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon at Raya Lucaria Academy and choose rebirth.
- Sold by Pidia, Carian Servant at Caria Manor for 3,000 runes.
- Sold by Abandoned Merchant at Siofra River for 3,000 runes.
