The Godslayer's Seal is a Sacred Seal in Elden Ring.
When to Use It
Early game. It is found around Stormveil Castle, in the opening stretch of a run, so it is one of the first real upgrades you can carry.
Why Players Pick It
The whole mid-to-late Faith range belongs to it: gives 291 Incantation Scaling at +25 with 60 Faith and 329 at 80 Faith, and says it has high Incant Scaling from 27 through 68 Faith before Erdtree passes it. It also adds 10% to Black Flame, Black Flame Ritual and Scouring Black Flame, and stacks with a second copy. The real cost is stones: 's upgrade table shows Smithing Stone- plus an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone to reach +25, and 's Erdtree Seal page calls those 'generally much rarer' than the Somber stones Erdtree needs. Chest behind a Stonesword Key fog in Stormveil, so it is available very early relative to its 27 Faith requirement.
Upgrades
Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.
Build
Its scaling runs Str at E and Fai at C, so Fai is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 4 and Fai 27 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also boosts godslayer incantations by 10% on its own, with no infusion needed.
Notes
Sacred seal of the Godskin Apostles, inlaid with obsidian. Said to represent the manipulation of black flame, this catalyst enhances godslayer incantations.

- Stormveil Castle: found inside a chest behind a fog wall that requires 1 Stonesword Key to open.
- The cellar entrance can be found to the left of the courtyard if entered via the main gate and is guarded over by four rats.
