Almanac of Plants and Seedlings For The Farmer helps the Farmer grow better crops. The almanac was carried off to Surat's Rest, a Scavenger camp in the Nomad Highlands ruled by a Scavenger Matron, a boss. Placing the almanac in the base unlocks new farming recipes and gives 250 XP.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Cooking Equipment For The Farmer and Finding Masonry Tools, then speak to the Farmer.
- Look for the abandoned camp the Farmer mentions, the Southern Caravan Camp.
- Travel on to Surat's Rest.
- Defeat the Scavenger Matron boss and take the almanac.
- Return to the base and place the Almanac of Plants and Seedlings.

Prerequisites
Two earlier quests open this one. In Cooking Equipment For The Farmer, the Farmer wants her old kettle back. She sends the player to look for her friend Raúl in Pikemead's Reach, the ravaged capital. The kettle turns up among remains in a Flame Sanctum and becomes the Cooking Station. Finding Masonry Tools is a quest from the Carpenter. It leads to an excavation camp at the Pillars of Creation, and the tools let him build more crafting stations. After both, the Farmer asks for her almanac to grow better crops.
