Salvage And Enhance teaches how old weapons become better ones. Salvaging a weapon of higher rarity gives Runes. Runes pay for upgrades, and each upgrade raises the weapon a level and unlocks its next enhancement.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish The Ancient Spires, then speak to the Blacksmith.
- Open the inventory and salvage a weapon of higher rarity to get Runes.
- Spend the Runes to enhance a weapon at its crafter.
Melee weapons are upgraded at the Blacksmith, bows and daggers at the Hunter, and staffs and wands at the Alchemist.
Prerequisites
This quest follows The Ancient Spires, which the Blacksmith gives after Clear The Elixir Well. The Blacksmith explains that climbing an Ancient Spire reveals more of the Springlands. The player reaches the nearby spire, finds a way inside and unlocks its knowledge, which also opens a fast travel point. Afterwards, the Blacksmith teaches how to salvage an old weapon into Runes. Those Runes then pay for enhancements, the upgrades that unlock new perks on weapons and armour.
