The Tavern "Ol' Salt 'N Pepper" is the old inn of Driftwood Wake, in the Veilwater Basin. It promised self-caught fish, golden ale and many tales for weary travellers. Its owner, Captain Melville Fontane, told stories for the price of a pearl. Scavengers now hold the tavern. The Flame's quest Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas starts the search for the captain here.

Quests
The Flame gives Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas after Illuminate The Night, once the Flame Altar reaches level 8. It senses a threat in nearby waters and a need for a guide. After the passage into the basin, the trail leads to this tavern. The captain's note, "Be Right Back!", says he has gone to cast his net by the dragon skeleton at Ol' Captain's Rest. His soul waits there, and he joins the base as the Fisher.
