The Veilwater Basin Outlook is a camp at the end of the passage into the Veilwater Basin. The basin is a land of tropical lakes and sandy beaches. Its lakes are fed by meltwater from the Albaneve Summits. They are the largest stretches of surface water still untouched by the Shroud. The Flame's quest Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas passes through here.

The outlook lies on the eastern edge of the basin. The Passage to the Veilwater Basin is to the east. Riverreach and its waterfall lie to the west.

The Flame gives Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas after Illuminate The Night, once the Flame Altar reaches level 8. It senses a disturbance in nearby waters and a threat on the shores. The first steps lead through the passage to this outlook. From here, the search for a guide continues to the Tavern "Ol' Salt 'N Pepper".
