Some of the sharpest Ashlands weapons start with a Bonemaw Tooth, prised out of a Serpent that tried to eat your boat first.

How to Get It

Bonemaws hunt the hot water around the Ashlands, and one will usually find your hull before you spot its back, so you fight from the deck with a spear or a bow. Any tool tier will do and nothing needs mining or felling: the real barrier is the crossing itself and a ship that can survive a Serpent's attention. Teeth and meat float where the Bonemaw dies, so bring the boat back over the spot and gather them before the water carries them apart. The trophy sinks, so do not wait for it.
