Every cape, hood and robe in the last tier starts as Asksvin Hide, stripped from the Asksvin that roam the Ashlands. It is thick leather that comes away still warm, and it is the soft partner to Flametal in everything you build at the end of the game.
How to Get It
Asksvin and their hatchlings drop the hide when killed, so farming it means hitting a fast, evasive animal. A bow saves a lot of chasing. They spawn across the middle of the Ashlands at all hours, which means the usual voyage south and a fire-resistant landing, and starred ones are worth hunting because they drop more.
