Charred Bone drops from the legions that hold the Ashlands: Charred Warriors, Marksmen, Warlocks and Twitchers alike. It sits underneath almost every recipe the biome unlocks.
What It Is For
It also fuels a Shield Generator.
How to Get It
Charred Bone is a straight combat drop. Kill the charred undead that patrol the Ashlands and guard its fortresses and they drop bone, so no axe or pickaxe tier gates it. The biome does: you need a ship that survives the ashen sea, Fire Resistance Barley Wine for the warlocks, and armour one tier below what you are trying to build. Bone piles up fastest from a defensible camp outside a Charred Fortress rather than from wandering. It is also teleportable, so a wood portal takes the haul home.
