Hare Meat is cut from the Hares that bolt through the fog of the Mistlands. It is scant on the bone but feeds some of the best cooking in the game.
How to Get It
Hunt Hares anywhere in the Mistlands, where they are common and entirely passive but fast enough that a bow saves you a long chase. Each one drops one to four meat along with Scale Hide, and starred Hares drop more of both. Avoid killing one over deep water, because the meat and the hide both sink. Reaching the Mistlands at all takes a ship and the confidence to walk a biome full of Seekers, so hunt in daylight and near the coast at first.
Notes
- Misthare Supreme gives the most health of any food in the Mistlands, and besides Hare Meat it only needs easy-to-farm Jotun Puffs and Carrots.
- The spike defences outside Dvergr fortifications sometimes collect Hare Meat and Scale Hide from Hares that run into them.
