You buy this one before you build it: the iron basin at the heart of the Iron Fire Pit comes from Hildir's stock, not from a Forge. Place it from the Lighting menu with a single piece of wood and you have a tidy metal brazier that stands on any surface without a bed of stone under it.

How to Build It

It takes one Iron Pit and one Wood and needs no station, so you can build it anywhere your hammer reaches. The basin is the hard part. Hildir sells it for coins, and since it is metal it cannot go through an ordinary portal and has to come home by ship. It is a fire like any other and goes out if rain reaches it, so give it a roof.
