The Resin candle is a short pillar of wax on a twist of cord, found in the Lighting tab. It costs almost nothing: one lump of resin and a single candle wick. It throws a small warm glow across a table, a shrine or a bedside, the kind of light you set down for atmosphere rather than to hold back the dark.

How to Build It

Each candle takes one resin and one candle wick, placed within range of a workbench. It burns down over time and cannot be refuelled. When the flame dies the candle slumps into a puddle of wax, and dismantling that puddle with the hammer gives you the wick back, so a replacement only costs a fresh lump of resin. Rain will put out the flame, but the candle itself takes no weather damage.
