Basilisk Decoction is a decoction that raises the intensity of one randomly chosen Sign at dusk and dawn. A dose lasts 96 minutes, longer than any other mutagen decoction. One brew holds 1 charge and adds 40 Toxicity. It is brewed from the mutagen of a Basilisk.
Sign intensity sets how effective Signs are: Igni deals more damage, Quen's shield gets stronger, Yrden slows more and Axii lasts longer. The Sign it boosts is picked at random, so it helps a build that uses every Sign.
Basilisk
The Basilisk is a Draconid that loves dark, damp places such as cellars, caves and city sewers. It hunts by day. It waits in hiding for its prey, then leaps out to attack with acid, venom, claws and teeth. Draconid Oil, Grapeshot and the Aard Sign work well against it. The Golden Oriole potion gives resistance to its venom.
