The Bastion is an old, abandoned fort in the Kaer Morhen valley. It lies west of Kaer Morhen. Young boys once trained here to become witchers. Today the fort is full of wraiths.

History
One of those boys died here when fanatics attacked Kaer Morhen. His remains were never buried, and his ghost haunts the fort. In the side quest The Bastion, Geralt finds the remains and buries them. This lets the boy's soul rest.
